The purpose of the NEI Project is simple yet powerful: to empower Arab American entrepreneurs by providing them with the support and resources necessary to overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and achieve sustainable growth. We recognize the vital role that Arab Americans play in Michigan’s economy, and we are dedicated to ensuring their success.
Through the NEI Project, we have established a strong network of resources. We offer connections to financial assistance, business development programs, marketing companies, funding & capital. and more to help entrepreneurs thrive in their respective industries. Our goal is to connect Arab American business owners to the region’s strong entrepreneurial ecosystem.
We understand that navigating the complexities of running a business can be daunting. That’s why the NEI Project takes a personalized approach to support. When business owners express their resource needs through our dedicated form, our project manager promptly reaches out to understand their unique challenges and requirements. We then connect them with the most relevant resources from our network, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. How Does the NEI Resource Project Work?
To participate in the NEI Project, Arab American for-profit small business owners in Michigan can simply fill out our resource request form. Once the form is submitted, our dedicated project manager will promptly reach out to understand their requirements and connect them with the most relevant resources from our extensive network.
Once your form is submitted, our dedicated project manager, Reda Taleb, will personally reach out to you to understand your needs, discuss available resources, and provide relevant contact information.
With your list of resources, you can now proactively reach out to the provided contacts, leveraging the support and expertise available to maintain and scale your business.

The New Economy Initiative
The New Economy Initiative (NEI) is a philanthropic collaboration and special project of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan working to build a regional network of support for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
