Lori Blaker is the President & CEO of TTi Global, whose core focus is automotive and offers a wide range of tailor made services for the workforce development. Her company currently staffs over 2000 employees in more than 24 countries on five continents. Lori’s strong advocacy of gender equality and the empowerment of women in the workplace resulted in her launching the Metro Detroit Chapter of US National Committee for UN Women in 2013 and becoming the chapter’s first president. In May 2018, Lori accepted the prestigious Oslo Business for Peace award in Norway. She was recognized for her business performance in the US, as well as, developing economies around the world, including India and Afghanistan.
Najah Bazzy is the founder and CEO of Zaman International since its inception in 1996. Her non-profit, Metro Detroit based organization now offers comprehensive crisis assistance and vocational training to marginalized women and children. Najah, a Registered Nurse, is a nationally esteemed health care consultant, humanitarian and interfaith leader. She is also CEO of Diversity Specialists and Transcultural Health Care Solutions, a training group that promotes cross-cultural understanding between clinicians and patients. Her work as a recognized community leader led her to becoming a founding member of the Islamic Institute of America in Dearborn and Co-founder of the Muslim Youth Connection. www.zamaninternational.org
