Our keynote speaker will be Lori Blaker, President & CEO of TTi Global, whose core focus is automotive and offers a wide range of tailor made services for the workforce development. Her company currently staffs over 2000 employees in more than 24 countries on five continents. Lori’s strong advocacy of gender equality and the empowerment of women in the workplace resulted in her launching the Metro Detroit Chapter of US National Committee for UN Women in 2013 and becoming the chapter’s first president. In May 2018, Lori accepted the prestigious Oslo Business for Peace award in Norway. She was recognized for her business performance in the US, as well as, developing economies around the world, including India and Afghanistan.

Arab American Women’s Business Council Accepting Scholarship Applications Through October 12, 2018
The Arab American Women’s Business Council (AAWBC) is accepting scholarship applications from Arab American female college students and high school students in Michigan who have been accepted to college. The deadline is October 12, 2018. Since the program began in 2008, the AAWBC has provided more than $20,000 in scholarships to young Arab American women studying a variety of subjects to assist them in advancing their education.
